Meet the owners
Hailing from the heart of Columbus, Ohio, Brian and Julia’s story began in high school, where they first met during community theatre performances. Their shared love for creativity—whether on stage or in the kitchen—ignited a connection that grew into a fulfilling marriage and a family with two now-grown children.
Chef Brian, affectionately known as Chef B, discovered his love for cooking as a latchkey kid, experimenting in the kitchen to create meals that brought joy to his family. With a culinary degree in hand, he went on to spend 30 years building a reputation for excellence, opening several successful restaurants that celebrated quality ingredients and community spirit. Most recently, as a culinary instructor, Chef B has been inspiring the next generation of chefs to find their passion and purpose in the kitchen.
Julia, meanwhile, carved out a successful career in IT, working for Fortune 500 companies and traveling the globe. But outside of her tech expertise, she has always been the family’s go-to baker, mastering everything from cupcakes to pies with a unique blend of artistry and precision. For Julia, baking is a perfect harmony of science and creativity—a way to bring people together over something delicious.
For years, their dream of opening a restaurant together simmered in the background. They envisioned a space where Chef B’s bold culinary creations and Julia’s decadent desserts could come together, but the timing never felt right. Life had other plans—until a sudden shift changed everything.
When Julia was unexpectedly laid off due to corporate downsizing and COVID reshaped the culinary world, the couple saw an opportunity. With fine dining giving way to flexible, mobile food options, they realized it was the perfect time to take their dream on the road.
Drawing inspiration from their travels while staying rooted in the comfort food they love, Brian and Julia created a menu that fuses bold, global flavors with a touch of Midwest soul. Their food truck is more than a kitchen on wheels—it’s a place where people can gather, enjoy hearty meals, and savor beautifully crafted pastries.
For Brian and Julia, food is about more than nourishment—it’s about community, connection, and joy. They’re thrilled to share their culinary passion and favorite flavors with everyone who walks up to their truck.
